Dimapur, Nov. 23 (EMN): ‘Husqvarna,’ a company dealing in varieties of forest and gardening tools, inaugurated its first outlet in Dimapur on November 23. The outlet was inaugurated by the national sales manager, Abhishek Tripathi.

Proprietor of the outlet, Bumo Chang, updated that the goods available in the store included hedge trimmers, pole saw, entire ranges of chainsaws, brush cutters, sprayers, lawnmowers (electric, petrol and manual), water pumps, tillers, and blowers. Chang also informed that he has planned to expand the outlet even in other districts especially in Kohima.

Tripathi highlighted that Husqvarna is a 300 years old organisation started in Sweden, which initially started for manufacturing firearms. He, however, stated that the organisation has now started manufacturing machines for forestry, agriculture and others.

He opined that India, being an agriculture country, needed more machineries as the manpower in agriculture sector was decreasing. He added that they are trying to support the farmers in order to make their job easier.

The dedication prayer during the programme was said by Rev Wongtochingmak, pastor of Chang Baptist Church Dimapur.
