Hukphang Students’ Union conducts career guidance programme

DIMAPUR — The Hukphang Students’ Union held a career guidance programme at the Hukphang Baptist Church in Longleng on Monday.

According to a DIPR report, the event was sponsored by M Chingsang Phom, Agricultural Inspector, Longleng, and aimed to provide valuable insights into career opportunities for the students.

Dr. Samuel Akho Konyak P, EAC Hq. and in-charge of Yongnyah Circle, and M Chingsang Phom were the programme’s resource persons.

The career guidance programme primarily focused on two key topics: NPSC (NCS, NPS, NSS, and Allied Services) led by Konyak, technical courses after 10+2, and NPSC-CTSE, presented by Phom.

The programme aimed to provide youth with essential knowledge for making informed career choices and to guide them towards a brighter future, in line with the government’s vision for skill development and career exploration.
