Howraghat, Diphu electoral rolls published

Diphu, Jan.  5 (EMN): The final publication of photo electoral rolls for Howraghat and Diphu LAC under Diphu election district was announced on Wednesday.

In a press conference held at the conference hall of DC office here on Wednesday, the Deputy Commissioner, Debar Nath said, “From November 1 to 30, 2021 claims and objections were taken up and upto December 31, 2021 all claims and objections were solved. We have taken January 1, 2022 as the qualifying date, and on January 5 the photo electoral rolls for Howraghat and Diphu LAC under Diphu election district has been published.”

He said in Howraghat LAC from the draft roll published, the additional new voters male is 578 and female is 794. Total new voters are 1,372, he said.  While for Diphu LAC, the additional new male voters were 1,261 and female were 1,367. Total is 2,628 new voters added in the photo electoral rolls, he added.

In both Diphu and Howgraghat LAC under Diphu election district, the total new male voters are 1,839 and new female voters are 2,161. So the total new voters added in photo electoral rolls under Diphu election district is 4000, the DC informed.

The meeting was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajeshan Terang and Election Officer, Kaibyashree Dihingia.
