How to use SBI YONO app to apply for SBI ATM Debit Card

Dimapur, August 13 (EMN): State Bank of India (SBI) customers can use the SBI YONO mobile application for various banking activities such as money transfer, account statements, online recharge, pay credit, disburse loans, booking IRTC tickets, reissue/new ATM Debit Card and more.

The SBI YONO app was launched on 10 December 2017 and has since amassed more than 37 million registered users in India. YONO stands for ‘You only need one’ and the app has become the primary mobile banking app for millions of people in the country.

The SBI YONO app is available as a free download on both android and iOS platforms. A lighter version of the app called YONO Lite is also available on the Google Play Store and the Apple Store.

SBI customers after installing the app on their phone can virtually do any sort of banking activity without the need to physically visit an SBI office.

One of the most convenient uses of the SBI YONO app is that customers can directly apply for reissue/new SBI ATM Debit/Credit Card from their phone.

How to apply for SBI ATM Debit Card directly from YONO app?

Step 1. Open the YONO app.

Step 2. Log in your User ID or MPIN.

Step 3. Tap on the menu button.

Step 4. Click on the “Service Request” option.

Step 5. Now tap on the “ATM/Debit Card” option.

Step 6. Now enter your “internet banking profile password.”

Step 7. After entering your password, click on the “Request New/Replacement” option.

Step 8. Enter your account details such as type of account and type of card. Next, select the address for delivery of your SBI ATM card. For reissue or replacement, you can select “card number” and enter “reason to block the card.”

Step 9. Next, enter the OTP on your registered mobile number.

Step 10. A message with the reference number of your request will appear. Congratulations! You have successfully applied for a new SBI ATM Debit card.
