The Niuland Area Sports Association, Hovishe Memorial Trophy will have its 38th Annual Meet from November 4 to 9 at K Hetoi village. Tovihoto Ayemi, Parliamentary Secretary IT&C, Technical Education, Science and Technology and Taxes will grace the tournament as the chief guest and Tokuho Niho, Vice President, NPF Central Office as the guest of honour.Altogether, 16 villages will be participating in the forthcoming trophy. The tournament will feature football for men and volleyball for both men and women. The trophy for men’s volleyball is being sponsored by Bob Chakraborty, Dimapur. The association has requested all the respective teams, area GBs and all the well wishers to cooperate and participate in the annual meet.
