Dimapur, Nov. 22 (EMN): In exercise of the power conferred under Section 30 (1) (2) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, and in order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19, the deputy commissioner and DDMA chairman of Dimapur, Rajesh Soudararajan, has ordered temporary sealing of House No. 21 at Thahekhu block-I, Dimapur, for 48 hours with immediate effect till further order.
It warned that any person violating the containment measures would be liable to be prosecuted as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides legal action under Section-188 of the IPC.
