Dimapur, April 16 (EMN): Nagaland’s first satellite television channel HornbillTV is now available on Tata Sky, more than two months after it was launched and made its presence felt on social media platforms.
The Dimapur-based news channel, which was soft-launched on January 29 this year, stated in a press release that it aims to fulfil the information needs of people from the Northeast as well as the country by providing news from across the world.
The newly-launched television channel is available on channel number 1978 on India’s popular direct broadcast satellite service provider Tata Sky. It is also available on City Cable, JioTV, and JioTV app.
The channel intents to broadcast news from Nagaland, Northeast and across the world in English and Nagamese; hosts talk shows with eminent personalities to discuss ideas and burning issues; as well as air entertainment and educative programmes.
