Hornbill Music Festival partners with V-Rox Festival from Russia

Kohima, Aug. 3 (EMN): The famous annual Hornbill Music Festival of Nagaland to be held during the first week of December has now partnered with the V-Rox festival from Vlasdivosk in Russia.
The Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio, who is considered as the brainchild of the Hornbill Festival, tweeted on Aug. 3, “I am happy to know that V-Rox Festival – Vladivostok, Russia and Hornbill Music Festival Nagaland, India, will be festival partners.”
The tweet read: We are happy to announce that on this day, the 3rd of August, 2020, that V-Rox festival in Vladivostok, Russia, and Hornbill Music festival, Nagaland, India agree to be festival partners and we shall explore avenues and platforms for the exchange of music, art, and culture, between the two festivals and countries in the days and years ahead.
While congratulating the collaborations Rio said, “I hope the collaboration will foster bilateral interest in music, art, and culture and will be enriching for both the countries.”
This development comes amid uncertainty among the people and the government owing to situation prevailing the Covid-19 crisis and also holding the premier festival that used to be celebrated with galas, attracting thousands of visitors both international and domestic tourists.the V-Rox is a massive rock festival that is held annually in the Russian Far East in the month of August with performers from all over the world.
