Hornbill Festival 2022: Off-road adventure ‘Great Escape’ held

Dimapur, Dec. 10 (EMN): Great Escape of Mahindra adventure was held as part of the Hornbill Festival. The Great Escape Hornbill edition was organised by the Global India Expeditions and Mahindra Adventure.

The off-road adventure was flagged off by the principal secretary to chief minister and development commissioner, Amardeep Singh Bhatia, at Apex Motor, Meriema, Kohima, on December 9.

Bhatia urged the participants to explore the villages and expressed hope that in the future, the interior parts of Nagaland will also be explored. He also expressed hope that more off-road adventures would be organised.

Bhatia further called upon drivers to drive responsibly.

Various Mahindra SUVs took part in the off-road adventure where they crossed multiple villages including Khonoma, Mezoma, and Jotsoma. The event was organised to promote tourism and rural Nagaland through off-road adventures. It was the fourth time that the Great Escape has been organised in the state.
