Novaturient Managements has rejuvenated the show with all its past glories under the theme ‘Lieyie’ this year.

The word “Lieyie” is derived from the Angami dialect meaning harvesting accolades. It is an expression used in garnering acknowledgement of merit, the organisers informed.

The theme seeks to build a bridge between past glory and future bounty, present being the instigator. It aspires to wield the rich Naga textiles in alliance to find new roots and create a synthesis of fantasy and reality.

The collection is for Naga designers to vent their creativity in producing a striking new look, an intensifying performance, an enhanced luxury and peerless craftsmanship.

There were four rounds in total showcasing the works of four designers including Reema T Swu, Elijah Gangmei, Mulutalu Chuzho, and Mitchel Dzuvichu.

Miss India Nagaland 2022 Lovi Awomi was the show-stopper. The official makeup artist was Ketho Miachieo and the stage lighting partner for the show was Headlight.
