The Homer, Shooting Star’z Football Club (F/C) lifted the 4th edition of TM Wati, IPS, IGP (Retd.) football trophy today after 3 years with contribution of two goals from Temjenmeren (Jercy number -7) today at Mokokchung Village Ground here on Tuesday, afternoon during the finally match with Raven Sporting Club who dominated the ground but during the last minutes of the half time the Shooting Star’z F/C turn a u-turn after Temjenmeren (J-7) score the lucky shoot, which made a relieved for the host.Second Half witness the lacking of coordination from the Raven Sporting Club as the Shooting Star’z Football Club (F/C) strive to dominate the game with multiple sticks, but zeal of the defenders safe the net. But the defence was crack again by Temjenmeren (J-7) scored his second goal safely landing on the net, which made the Homer blow their horn again to claim their victory after four years.
The closing function was concluded with Rongsern Longkumer, JE, RD Block , Mongkolemba, Mokokchung as the Chief Guest.
Champion were awarded with cash amount of Rs.50000 along with certificate and trophy and the runner up were awarded cash amount of Rs. 30000/-.
