Finally be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stance against the devil’s schemes. Ephesians 6:10-11
Every war that is being waged in this world can be categorized into two entities: The war against the flesh and the war against the Spirit. The war of the flesh is the visible war which we witness but the war of a higher dimension is of eternal life and death. This truth will corner you from all sides that you may be protected from all form of violence while you are at your righteous infancy. The nature of the real supernatural war will further be explained in the next chapter and even as we contemplate on the issues of it, the real supernatural Spirit will teach, train and mould us in the ways of it.
The wholeness of the powers of God is a mystery in itself and the holy and supernatural sensation we experience in our being is the result of His presence in us. Lucifer in his desperate attempt to dethrone God resulted in the horrible fate of his destiny. And the result of his acts bought death to himself and to his lovers alike. This awful, terrible, eternal judgment will befall every sinner who continues in the acts of unrighteousness, lust and death. This scriptural study has been mixed with this to equip the saints who are desperate to fight the war for Christ.
In the war against evil the scripture reveals to us the sources of power and knowledge needed to counter the flaming darts of the evil one. The need to defeat the strong man in order to control the stronghold of that place is being stressed in the scripture. This truth has not only impressed me but it has helped me to express deep mysteries of God in ways I had never expected. To do every thing through Him (Christ ) who strengthens me has become a way of life for me ( Philippians 4:13 ). The more I meditated on it, the more I began to realize the need of God in my life. It is with God alone that we can win any battle. As the scripture says “We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37 ). This verse specifically exhorts the faithful lovers of God who seeks to add more lovers to the dignified Church of Christ. The early part of the emphasized scripture exhorts us to be strong in the Lord’ and it is what we need to be. It is not just about praying for power and authority but it is about living in authority through the power of Christ. The term ‘ dressed to kill ‘ is a term which is referred to women with a history of immorality but the issue discussed here is not of what we think but of what we should be. God desires us to be armed for battle that we may be a threat to the enemy who is of hell. To know the strategy and to be dressed for battle we need to be geared up in the truth. This battle will toughen you for greater battles if you continue living in the truth. It’s just a taste of all that is to come. Think of this and be trained by it.
