Dimapur, Nov. 24 (EMN): IO Interactive’s upcoming Hitman 3 game will run 4K with 60fps on next-gen consoles like the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S. The game publisher launched a new trailer today for Hitman 3 where it revealed a brand new location, Chongqing, and the updated visuals that players will be able to experience once the game is released.
Hitman 3 is the third and final instalment of the ‘World of Assassination’ trilogy, following Hitman and Hitman 2. IO Interactive in the new trailer revealed the neon-lit city of Chongqing and the next-gen visuals of Hitman 3 looks absolutely stunning. The narrator in the trailer explains, “Details like water effects, drops hitting Agent 47 and his clothes getting wet, all adds to player immersion.”
IO Interactive has confirmed that the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and capable PCs will be able to run 4K with 60 frames per second.
Additionally, all the improvements in AI, animation and rendering for Hitman 3 will also be made available for Hitman and Hitman 2. The new location, Chongqing, joins two previously revealed locations: Dubai and Dartmoor.
Hitman 3 is set for launch on January 20 for PC, Google Stadia, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
