Hindu Yuva Sangh organises painting contest

Dimapur, June 21 (EMN): Pranita Sen, Reeva Sharma, Egeta Das, Tsuzolu Rhakho, and Ashim Paul were declared winners of the 5th open drawing painting in various categories organised by the Hindu Yuva Sangh (HYS) on June 17.
A HYS press release stated that 500 students from different schools in Dimapur had participated in the drawing competition.
A felicitation programme for the meritorious students of HSLC and HSSLC examinations was also held on the same day where certificates of achievement and mementos were awarded to the achievers.
Cultural fashion show showcasing the diversity of the Hindu culture was arranged alongwith cultural songs and dances. The chief guest of the evening programme was Kilemtoshi Jamir, ACP, SB, Dimapur, and the guest of honour was Arvind Damani, Northeast coordinator BJP youth wings.
To boost the spirit of members of HYS, Kaushik Dasgupta, Ratnadeep Bhattacharjee, Subhojit Mukherjee, Pranab Poddar and Deepraj Das were awarded with certificates for their valuable contribution and selfless service. The guests were gifted with paintings by Sir Ashim Dutta and Sir Manjit Mukherjee.
