Heritage’s books find a place in Mokokchung

Dimapur, Oct. 3 (EMN): In a move that will give book worms in Mokokchung district to read books written by local writers, Heritage Publishing House, Dimapur has entered a partnership with the Eastern Book Depot (ABAM) wherein the latter will have an exclusive shelf in its store to exhibit an array of books published by the Heritage.
An update from a representative of Heritage Publishing House has informed that its exclusive shelf at the Book Depot as dedicated by the general secretary of Ongpangkong Mungdang, Aso Imsong, who is also a well-known writer in Mokokchung town.

Imsong expressed happiness that all books published by Heritage and the works of local writers will now be available in Mokokchung town. He also encouraged the people to buy books to encourage the local writers as well as enrich themselves through the works of Naga writers.

Established in 2008 by Dr. Asangla Tzudir, Heritage Publishing House, Dimapur is one of the most popular publishing houses in Nagaland. It published a variety of books over the years. Representative of the publishing house, Longrangty Longchar thanked the manager of Eastern Book Depot, ABAM for taking the initiative of selling its books at the bookstore. He expressed hope that bookenthusiats, especially scholars from various educational institutions in the state would avail the books and read them.

Manager of Eastern Book Depot, ABAM (Ao Baptist Church Council), Tiawapang Longkumer also expressed happiness at the new partnership and said that it would go a long way in promoting the local writers besides generating revenue for the ABAM.
