Dimapur, Dec. 1 (EMN): The Game Awards 2020 is set to air on December 10, 2020, and this time, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the show will be an exclusive virtual event.
The Game Awards is an annual awards ceremony that honours achievements in the video gaming industry produced and hosted by Canadian journalist Geoff Keighley. This year’s edition sees India’s Skoar among the jury panel. On October 27, 2020, The Game Awards announced an expansion of its distribution plans in India for this year’s live stream event.
On its web page, The Game Awards wrote, “Today, The Game Awards, the world’s biggest celebration of video game culture, announced a significant expansion of its live distribution plans in India for its 2020 gala broadcast, airing live on Thursday, December 10.”

Indian viewers will be able to watch The Game Awards 2020 live on their television sets on MTV India. The show will also be available in popular Indian streaming platforms including Disney+/Hotstar, Viacom’s VOOT, Reliance’s JioTV, Airtel and MX Player.
