Helpline numbers for stranded people in Ukraine, Patton assures assistance

Dimapur, Feb. 27 (EMN): Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha has informed that details of any person, who may be stranded in Ukraine from Nagaland and needs to be evacuated, may be provided by his/her family or relatives for necessary support and facilitation at the following numbers or email IDs of the State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC), NSDMA, Home department: Ph. 0370-2291122/2291120, seoc.nsdma@gmail.com and sdma.nagaland@gmail.com

Meanwhile, deputy chief minister and minister in-charge of Home, Y Patton has assured of any possible help to bring back Nagas stranded in Ukraine by getting in touch with the officials of Ministry of External Affairs and embassies in foreign countries. In this regard, Patton has asked the parents and relatives of those who might be stranded there and needing assistance to send him details of such persons or through the office of the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF).
