DIMAPUR — With an objective to improve and streamline the logistics and supply chain of family planning commodities, the Mon District Health Society organised a district-level training on Family Planning Logistics Management Information System (FPLMIS) for healthcare workers on August 24 in the conference hall of the District Hospitial, Mon.
During the programme, the chief medical officer (CMO) of Mon, Dr. Vezokholu Theyo, welcomed all the participants and introduced the resource person KH Kanta, state consultant of FPLMIS. She requested active participation and to clear all doubts by having an interactive session within the given hour.
An update from the CMO office stated that Kanta presented a brief review of FPLMIS operation in the state and the district. He also took sessions on various indicators and demonstrated the use of the application to all the staff.
The training was attended by medical officers, district programme officers, block programme managers, community health officers, ANMs, district community officers and ASHA coordinators of all the blocks.
