DIMAPUR: Office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Mokokchung, conducted a training on National Programme for Climate Change and Human Health (NPCCHH) and National Rabies Control Programme (NRCP) for senior medical officers (SMO), medical officers (MO) and community health officers (CHO) on March 30 in its conference hall.
An update from CMO’s office stated that the participants were trained on NPCCHH, heat-related illnesses, identification of rabid dog and prevention of dog bite including prophylaxis/ vaccination of pets, animal bite management and rabies prophylaxis and reporting procedures for both the programmes.
