DIMAPUR — As part of Ayushman Bhavah campaign, a one-day health mela was held at Health and Wellness Centre (HWC) in Sanglao village under Noklak district on October 3. The event was held with an aim to provide essential health services and awareness to the local community.

A DIPR report stated that the health mela featured a range of activities aimed at promoting public health, including registration for Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan ArogyaYojana (AB-PMJAY) and Chief Minister's Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS), ante-natal care (ANC) services for expectant mothers, screening for non-communicable diseases, screening for tuberculosis (TB) and hepatitis, family planning services, immunisation services for children and focus group discussions on various health-related topics.

The health camp was conducted by Dr. Among, medical officer; Puchio, laboratory technician at ARTC Noklak; and Sujang, health staff of BAC, Thonoknyu.

Report stated that over 100 patients availed the health services.
