Dimapur, Sep.13 (EMN):
Reacting to a report that Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) will have a meeting with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Oct.15 in Guwahati to discuss ‘Frontier Nagaland’ issue, ENPO President, Tsapikiu Sangtam, late on Tuesday evening told Eastern Mirror that the organisation has not received any official invitation for the said meeting.

“Without any official invitation from the government of India or from the Assam CM, we cannot confirm if the meeting will take place. We have been receiving news that the meeting is scheduled for September month while some have said it will take place in October. So nothing is official so far”, the president said.

He further stated that this information was received ‘verbally’ from the state legislators who were in Delhi but ‘nothing official’ as of now.

‘If at all there will be a meeting, it should be official but we have not received any information so far, so we will not believe the hearsay’, he asserted.
