Hassle-free entry to Nagaland for JEE, NEET candidates on production of admit card

Dimapur, Aug. 31 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan, has issued measures to be followed during the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) mains and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 examination to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from September 1 to the 6th and September 13 respectively.

The following measures have been taken to ensure that the candidates do not face any obstacles or inconveniences while appearing for JEE and NEET examinations:

  • Candidates on production of admit card for the said examination will be allowed entry into the state of Nagaland.
  • After entry, the candidates will be allowed unhindered movement through all police check gates/ check post following all safety protocols to their residences and quarantine there, provided their residences have facilities for home quarantine. If the candidates do not have the required facilities, they will be quarantined in paid facility — hotels/lodges.
  • Candidates on the day of examination will directly proceed from their residence/paid facilities to the examination centres while maintaining social distancing norms.
  • After appearing the examination, if the candidate wishes to stay back in the state, he/she will need to undergo necessary testing for Covid-19 as per the SOP in place.
