Today, we come together to celebrate a day that holds special significance in our hearts—Teachers’ Day. It is a day dedicated to honouring and appreciating the tireless efforts and immense contributions of our teachers. As you know, September 5th is the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a revered educator and philosopher. He once said, “Teachers should be the best minds in the country.” His words remind us of the immense responsibility and privilege that come with being an educator.

Dr. Radhakrishnan was a distinguished teacher and believed that teachers play a crucial role in shaping the future of students and society.

Our teachers are the guiding lights who illuminate our paths, not only through academic knowledge but also through life lessons. They inspire us to dream big, work hard, and strive for excellence. Their dedication, patience, and compassion help shape our character and guide us towards our goals. Today, I encourage each one of you to take a moment to reflect on the impact your teachers have had on your lives. Think about the moments when their encouragement helped you overcome challenges, or when their wisdom provided you with clarity and direction. Let us also remember that appreciation is not confined to a single day. The respect and gratitude we show to our teachers should be a constant throughout the year. Small acts of kindness, respect, and effort in our studies can be the greatest tribute we offer. To all our teachers, I want to say a heartfelt thank you. Your passion and commitment make a difference every single day. Your influence extends far beyond the classroom and into the future of our students.

Students, as you celebrate Teachers’ Day today, let us show your appreciation through your actions and our respect. Remember, your teachers are here to guide you, and it is your responsibility to honour their efforts by being diligent, respectful, and dedicated learners.

Happy Teachers’ Day!
