Dimapur, Sep. 5 (EMN): The Handicraft Exhibition organised by the Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited (NHHDC Ltd.) and sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) Ministry of Textiles, commenced here at Urban Haat on Monday.
An update informed that managing director, NHHDC Ltd., Dimapur, Zakabo V Rotokha, inaugurated the exhibition which will conclude on September 11.
All together there are 50 participants from Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and from the various districts of Nagaland, exhibiting varieties of hand crafted products.
The main aim and objective of the Exhibition is to develop and promote marketing channels in domestic and export markets and bring about linkage between the two in a holistic and integrated manner. The exhibition will also serve to provide marketing opportunities to handicraft artisans, it added.
