Guv visits children home, Gaidinliu’s memorial

DIPR Dimapur, November 25 The Governor P.B. Acharya visited the Bright Morning Star Children Home, Merhulietsa and Rani Gaidinliu Library-cum-Memorial Museum, Kohima on November 23. The Children’s Home has 17 school-going children within the age group of 5 to 14. It was established in 2012 with an aim to support the children who are orphans, abandoned, poor, or are in the case of a single parent and is being run in a rented house. Governor interacted with the children as well as the Wardens of the Home. Governor also visited the construction site of the Rani Gaidinliu Library-cum-Memorial Museum at Kohima, near New Secretariat on November 23. This was stated in a press release issued by the OSD to the Governor.
