DIMAPUR — The team of executives of the Gorkha Students’ Union Dimapur (GSUD) was inducted on October 23 at the Tourist Lodge, Dimapur, for the term 2023-2026 under the aegis of the Dimapur Gorkha Union (DGU).
According to a press release, the programme was chaired by Anil Karki, GSUD member, and an exhortation was delivered by Kumar Subba, DGU president, who spoke about the history of GSUD. Rahul Chetri, DGU advisor, also delivered a short speech encouraging the student body to work hard for the betterment of the community.
The team of the GSUD includes chief advisor Rahul Chetri, advisor Sunil Limbu, president Imnatula Chetri, vice president Deepak Rai, general secretary Cimon Sharma, asst. general secretary Nikato Tamang, sports secretary Sushil Gurung and Prakash Shrestha, asst. sports secretary Richard Gurung, cultural secretary Roshan Pradhan and Bishnu Adhikari, asst. cultural secretary Sumit Sunar, finance secretary Anjana Limbu, literary secretary Tiajungla Chetri, asst. literary secretary Alisha Thapa, media convenor Gobind Pradhan, and members Anil Karki and Rahul Bista.
