Green Team donates dustbins in Mokokchung

Mokokchung, Sep. 19 (EMN): With a vision to propagate a clean and safe environment, the Green Team of Mokokchung donated dustbins in and around the deputy commissioner’s office complex on September 18.

The dustbins were handed over to Sentilong Ozukum, SDO (C) of Mokokchung, in the presence of Green Team representatives.

The Green Team is one of the proactive socio-environmental groups in Mokokchung with its vision to conserve the environment through waste reduction, recycling, composting, energy conservation and pollution prevention.

“Implementing sustainability initiatives require participation from individuals and departments to mitigate our fragile environment and our main objective is to create a framework that brings decision-makers together to bring effect to the change that is required,” said a representative of the green team.
