Gravity goods ropeway inaugurated at Punglwa

Dimapur, Sep. 16 (EMN): Gravity goods ropeway, collection centre and feed mill was inaugurated at Punglwa village under Peren district on September 16 with chief operating officer, World Bank in India, Dr. Hisham Abdo Kahin as the Special guest. A press release from DIPR has informed that the project was supported by North East Rural Livelihood Project (NERLP) under the Ministry of DoNER and aided by the World Bank. Principal secretary of rural development, Bendangkokba chaired the programme, while the district project manager NERLP, Peren, Ruuvilie Kuotsu spoke on the progress of the project and vote of thanks delivered by the state project co-ordinator NERLP, Peren, Ringsanbo Zeliang.
