Grand Vista Arena Group organises open badminton tournament

Dimapur, April4 (EMN): Grand Vista Arena Group (GVAG) organised its first open badminton tournament on the theme “Be your best” in aid of gospel crusade ‘Festival of Joy November 2022’ at Grand Vista Arena, Badminton Stadium, Meriema on April 1 and 2nd.

An update informed that Theruovituo Pienyu, executive engineer, Municipal Affairs department and Smart City was the special guest of the tournament, which saw a participation of more than 140 players.

Manio Chakre and Maseu Kauring emerged the winner in men’s double (beginners) with Kuovizo and Atuolie as the runner-up. Tekaremba Longchar secured the men’s single (amateur), while Sewang Wangsa emerged the runner-up.

Tongpang Meren and Pusu Temjen won the men’s double (amateur), while Anahito Ayemi and Ikato Assumi secured the runner-up. In men’s double (40+), Sabou Yashu and Nochet emerged the winner with Raju Chetri and Kaisung as the runner-up.

Zuchobemo Odyuo and A Paoginlen Lotzem emerged the winner in men’s double (open), while Hito Swu and Imsurenba Jamir secured the runner-up position.
