Dimapur, March 23 (EMN): State governor, PB Acharya, accompanied by his wife Kavita Acharya visited the ongoing national handloom expo 2019 at Gorkha public panchayat complex, Chandmari, on March 22.
A press release issued by PRO to governor stated that they visited all the stalls and interacted with the entrepreneurs and encouraged them for their appreciable work.
The handloom expo is being held from March 21 to April 3, organised by the Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd., a Government of Nagaland undertaking and sponsored by the office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, New Delhi.
The governor was received by K Hokishe Assumi, director of industries and commerce and NHDCC managing director during his visit to the handloom expo.
