Dimapur, Nov. 2 (EMN): Governor of Nagaland RN Ravi has extended Chavang Kut greetings to Kuki, Chin and Mizo communities and to all the people of Nagaland.
“It is a thanksgiving festival for a bountiful harvest. The involvement of young and old in numerous activities including traditional dances, songs and games is a good way to preserve our rich cultural heritage. The celebration of the festival by communities, cutting across boundaries, brings people together and fosters friendship and unity which in turn leads to progress,” the message read.
“I urge everyone to strictly observe all Covid-19 SOPs during and after the celebrations of this beautiful festival. May God bless you all with good health, peace and prosperity,” it added.
