In a meeting which lasted for more than half-an hour, the President advised the Governor to go by the letter of Constitution saying in democracy it is the right of the elected members to choose the leader. The Governor also met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, Interlocutor for Naga peace talks RN Ravi, and other leaders during his brief stay in Delhi. Prime Minister expressed his concern on the security of the State and progress of peace talks. He wanted peace and development and a stable government. The Governor after his return will take immediate action as per the Constitution.
