Dimapur, Sep. 28 (EMN): Governor of Nagaland and Assam, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, visited Noklak district and held a series of meetings with civil society organisations on September 28.
The governor visited Assam Rifles COB at ITC Dan and interacted with the Assam Rifles officers and jawans. Mukhi also interacted with the heads of offices under Noklak district, stated a DIPR report.
The Governor also held a brief interaction with Khiamniungan Tribal Council (KTC), Khiamniungan Menyiu Hoikam (KMH), Khiamniungan Students’ Union (KSU), Pangsha Public Organisation (PPO), and village council chairmen of Dan village, New Pangsha village, Old Pangsha village, and Wonthoi village. He also had a separate interaction with the security agencies, it stated.
Mukhi also held a separate meeting with the political parties of NDPP, BJP, NPF, and INC. He also held a meeting with the Noklak Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
