Governor extends Tsonglak-nyi greetings

DIMAPUR — Nagaland Governor La Ganesan has extended Tsonglak-Nyi greetings to the Tikhir community.

“Tsonglak-nyi is basically a festival of sanctification and purification. It also is a festival of merry making through folk dance, folk songs and community feast.

“On this auspicious occasion of Tsonglak-nyi festival, I extend warmest greetings and wishes to all our Tikhir brothers and sisters as we commemorate our customs and tradition while also promoting cultural harmony and strengthening the bond of unity,” the governor said in his greetings.
