Governor of Nagaland, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi extended Tsahyok-Nyi greetings to the Tikhir community and to the people of Nagaland.
Mukhi shared that Tsahyoknyi is a festival celebrated by women belonging to the Tikhir tribe.
“Only after this festival, the cultivators prepare to sow their seeds in the fields. During this festival, seeds are dedicated and sanctified for the year long cultivation.
“On this joyous occasion, May God bless you all with a healthy and a prosperous life,” he conveyed.
Further, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio also extended Tsahyok-Nyi greetings to the Tikhir community.
“As you prepare for the year’s sowing of seeds, may your prayers for a fruitful and bountiful harvest be answered,” he shared.
