DIMAPUR — Governor of Nagaland La Ganesan and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio extended greeting s to the Lotha community as they celebrate Tokhü Emong.
The Tokhü Emong is the harvest festival of the Lothas and is also a festival of thanksgiving, sharing and reconciliation, but the most beautiful aspect is a celebration of brotherhood, forgiveness and oneness, the Governor said in his statement.
“May the bonds of unity and oneness be renewed and may it guide us in the year ahead,” he added.
Meanwhile, the CM posted on the X micro-blogging site. “Warm greetings to the Lotha community on the joyous occasion of Tokhu Emong. May this post harvest festival, which emphasizes on renewal of relationships, foster oneness and strengthen bonds,” the X post read.
