Governor PB Acharya has extended his warmest greetings to the people of Nagaland on the occasion of Christmas. In his greetings today, the Governor said Christmas is an occasion to renew the bonds of love, tolerance and compassion as has been taught by Jesus Christ to the world. He also said the celebration of Christmas reassures the believers of Christ to live on the principle of humanity.
“May the celebration bring peace, happiness, progress and prosperity to everyone,” Acharya wished.
The BJP Nagaland State Unit has also conveyed its heartiest wishes to the people of Nagaland on the occasion of Christmas.
“Christmas brings hope, peace and joy as announced by the angels as soon as baby jess was born to this world. As the people of Nagaland celebrate this festival of joy, may this festivity ushers good tiding upon the Nagas,” State BJP media cell said in its greetings.
The rank and file of BJP state unit further wished all the people a fruitful New Year 2015 and prayed that the New Year would bring greater joy and peace to the State of Nagaland.
