Government schools urged to maintain department fee structure

DIMAPUR — Having brought to its notice that few government schools are charging excess fee, the Directorate of School Education (DoSE) urged the schools to strictly adhere to the department notification dated June 17, 2022, and subsequent notification dated January 25, 2024.

The department has also drawn the attention of all concerned to note its notification nos. 3 and 4 as mentioned in the revised fee structure for government schools dated June 17, 2022.

It informed that schools providing uniforms, t-shirts, neck tie, belt etc. should get the rates approved by the respective school management and development committees (SMDC).

It added that NBSE fee would be modified in accordance with the notifications being issued by the board from time to time.

It further urged all the concerned schools to strictly adhere to the fee structure notified by the department.
