Dimapur, June 21 (EMN): With an objective to provide hands-on training to the state government officials in Nagaland, the Government e-Market (GeM) of the Government of India will be organising two day training at Kohima on June 25 and 26 at the directorate of Information Technology and Communication in Thizama.
The resource persons for the workshop are Ramanathan V GeM MSP Training Team, Jayavadielu Raja GeM MSP, Training Team Uday GeM MSP Training Team, Megha Chopra GeM MSP Marketing Team. The Information Cell of Secretariat through a press note said that the information was circulated by the Nagaland Chief Secretary Temjen Toy through an office memorandum.
The press release informed that the second half of the training would be used for registration of users on the portal as well as to familiarise the officers of the departments in the use of GeM portal.
In this regard the state secretariat has directed all departments of the state government to ensure that an officer not below the rank of Joint director along with a deputed drawal and disbursing officer to attend the training.
Further, it informed that details of the departments and officers with names and designation have to be intimated to the Finance Department on or before June 23 at findept@gmail.com”.
The press note also informed local producers and entrepreneurs interested in getting themselves registered on the GeM portal to attend the afternoon sessions on any of the two days, with prior intimation to Finance Department at the stated mail address.
