Government notifies stranded persons to stay back

Kohima, May 13 (EMN): With the announcement to provide an assistance of INR 10,000 for those stranded in other parts of the country, Nagaland government has notified all those stranded persons to stay back wherever they are stationed.
A government tweet on Wednesday evening informed that an application would be opened from 7 pm onwards on May 13 and close on May 16 at 7 pm. It informed that an assistance was a one-time grant and applying for the same would be made voluntary.
It stated that the criteria for applying the assistance was only for those who registered in ‘Returnee Declaration Form’ presently residing outside Northeastern states or in Sikkim.
All the concerned applying for assistance are asked to furnished details by providing with valid Aadhaar, bank passbook, valid indigenous inhabitant certificate or birth certificate by the government of Nagaland. It further stated that documents should be in the name of the applicants.
