Dimapur, Sep. 16 (EMN): The Governor PB Acharya has conveyed birthday greetings to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi on behalf of the people of the state.
In his message, the governor said under Modi’s visionary leadership, the state is striving hard to transform the nation into ‘New India’ - free of poverty, corruption, dirt, casteism, communalism and terrorism.
“We have come a long way since May 2014 when you took over as prime minister. Reforms across various sectors have prepared track for ‘Bullet Train’ to ‘Dream New India,” the Governor said.
Indicating that this year Modi’s birthday falls on Viswakarma Puja, the day of celebration for Viswakarma-the divine architect, Acharya said people are proud that Modi is their builder of ‘New India.’
“May Almighty God bless you with good health and long life to continue the tireless efforts for a strong, prosperous and peaceful Bharat,” the message added.
