Dimapur, July 1 (EMN): The Global Open University Nagaland held its academic council meeting on June 29 at the university campus in Dimapur.
During the meeting, it was informed that the council members deliberated on the progress and development on the academic issues pertaining to the university and new programmes to be implemented.
The council recommended introduction of new courses such as B.Voc, M.Voc in the field of geriatric care, yoga, naturopathy, retail management, tourism, food processing, carpentry / mechanical tools, integrated LLB, B.ed and acupuncture. It also discussed the avenue to improvise the current academic programs.
