Gorkha youth organises cultural and literary competition

[caption id="attachment_259310" align="aligncenter" width="600"] The participants of Chümoukedima Gorkha Youth’s 5th cultural and literary competition posing for a photograph.[/caption] Dimapur, July 8 (EMN): Chümoukedima Gorkha Youth (CGY) organised its 5th cultural and literary competition for its student community at St Gabriel Cchool Chümoukedima ward-5 on July 7. The competition was conducted on account of the 205th Bhanu jayanti celebration 2019 which will be held on July 13 at CTC Hall Chümoukedima, informed an update received here on Monday. CGY president Manoj Shrestha encouraged the students to inculcate the habit of writing and also to actively participate in activities like literary and art works to enhance their skills in several areas. Competitions on poetry reading, singing competition, painting, dance, eating competition, quiz, extempore speech, photography and debate was organised for the Gorkha students in Chümoukedima at the event. A total 57 Gorkha Students took part in the event and competition, according to the update.
