Gorkha students visit ‘Cradle Ridge’

Dimapur, May 2 (EMN): Gorkha Students’ Union Kohima (GSUK) visited the “Cradle Ridge,” which is maintained by the Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) on April 29 in Kohima. A union press release stated that its president, Meghraj Lama, had delivered brief history of the union. Lama mentioned that the union usually organised community services programme during the GSUK day. Lama has encouraged the children to study hard and to never compromise with it. He thanked the caretaker and the counsellor of the home for doing a commendable job for the children. The updates further mentioned that the union distributed gifts and sports items to the children after the programme. GSUK Day is celebrated every year on April 29.
