An event dubbed the second edition of “autumn festival” of Golden Crown Theological College in Dimapur was celebrated on Saturday, September 24, in the college’s premises. The event was where friendship, food, laughter and music converged to meet with the young and old alike. img-20160924-wa0010 The festival is celebrated eimg-20160924-wa0012very year by the college as a means to encouraging a celebration of life where music and good food hold the vibe high. Every year, different projects are taken up by the college to inspire a spirit of self-reliance and productivity instead of dependence on external means or organisations for aid and help. The charity for this year was the building of the new 200-seat chapel hall. The fund raised from the festival will directly go to building the chapel hall. With numerous food stalls, art and craft stalls, games-stalls and ‘pre-loved clothes’ put on sale, the Autumn Festival was a treat for visitors and participants today. In addition, live music was performed throughout the event; students and teachers of Golden Crown Theological College, along with guest artistes, entertained the gathering. golden-crown_02 A Broadway musical “Annie” was screened as the curtains to the festival.
