The Hair and Make-Up Grooming Contest
[dropcap]G[/dropcap]LAMAZON Events will host the second edition of “COLOR TROPHY” 2014 an event of Hair and Make-Up grooming Contest featuring Make-Up Artist, Hair Stylist and various Salons from across the State of Nagaland and the Northeast States who will compete by showcasing their unique styles and techniques under these four categories 1. Color Trophy 2014 Title (Colour/Style/Technique), 2. Street Fashion Style (Man), 3. Evening Fashion Long Hair Up (Ladies) and 4. Bridal Make-Up.
Glamazon Events will be hosting this highly anticipated grooming contest on Thursday the 30th of October 2014 at Niathu Resort, Chumukedima, Dimapur at 1700 hours, with the basic objective of promoting young talents and professionalism and to bring about the importance of grooming industry in our society. Our panel of Judges includes a roster of highly acclaimed celebrities and professionals like Nise Meruno an Eminent Personality and Fashion Icon, Valerie Kachari Former Model and Freelance Bollywood Make-up Artist & Stylist and Esther Jamir International Super Model. The event will also be featuring fashion shows showcasing creative designs of our up-coming young Naga designers from Nagaland and lots more.
The event was conceived by Calvina Sumi, Director, Glamazon Events, a professional Make-Up Artist and Hair Stylist and proprietor of Glamazon Beauty Salon, and its Season-1 was organised and held on 19th July 2011. The main challenge that she takes upon is to do away with the stigma of being unemployed and persuade people for originality, uniqueness and to celebrate the essence of self-reliance through hard work and thus becoming professional in the grooming industry.
