Girish and the Chronicles from Hornbill Rock 2011 to play in Dimapur

The 1st runner-up of the Hornbill International Rock Contest 2011, Girish and the Chronicles, is all set to perform live on Monday in Dimapur at the ongoing Hornbill Music Festival.

‘We will most definitely sing only our original songs,’ said Girish Pradhan of the band while addressing a press conference that was conducted on December 8 at Nuone Resort in Dimapur.

The band’s frontman Girish Pradhan disclosed that the band will be releasing an album in April next year. He added that the band would be releasing a new song this December too. ‘We’ll be singing that.’

‘We are expecting a really good time tomorrow,’ Pradhan said.

The band was formed on October 18 2009. Pradhan said, ‘We are really grateful for everything and we hope for nothing less in our performance at Nagaland.’

The band members are Girish Pradhan, Suraz Karki, Yogesh Pradhan, Nagen Mongranti, and Krishh Datta.
