[dropcap]W[/dropcap]INNER of Hornbill National Rock Contest 2012, GIngerfeet from Kolkata has released their debut album ‘High and Above’ on Nagaland’s own e-commerce website www.indihut.com.
Gingerfeet is considered to be one of the most powerful funk rock bands in India where they were shortlisted for Hard Rock Rising 2013 – the global battle of the bands competition organized by Hard Rock Cafe – International chain of pubs in which the band emerged as all India winners and now will be representing India globally. The band from Kolkata chose indihut to launch their debut album worldwide where people can support the band and download their music album using their debit, credit cards, internet banking and paypal accounts.
Rolling Stone Magazines review of High and Above :
Bassist Lokes Mangar’s slaps and taps his way through the catchiest grooves on songs like ‘God Forbid’ and ‘Stars. Gingerfeet go the hard rock way through most of their album, sticking to gang backing vocals and guitar solos [courtesy Vedant Razz] on the RATM-goes-dreamy political number “No Division”. Gingerfeet competently delivers funk rock and manages a fresh take on it for most part on High and Above: The First Wave. The debut is definitely an attempt that inspires you to watch the band on stage, and that’s a great start.
Music lovers can directly log in to www.indihut.com and download this album using their mobile phones or laptops either by using indihut coupons or internet banking.
