Gift hampers for 237 returnees at quarantine centres in Dimapur Govt. College

Dimapur, June 1 (EMN): A total of 237 returnees, on June 1, reached the quarantine centres in Dimapur Government College which are managed by Ao Baptist Churches and Ao civil societies in collaboration with the government of Nagaland.

The returnees — 142 girls and 95 boys – were given gift hampers containing a Bible, diary, pen, ORS, one course of immune booster face mask, homeopathy medicine along with bucket, mug, cup, toothbrush, toothpaste, soaps, hand sanitiser and dustbin, on arriving at the quarantine centre.

It was informed that three quarantine centres have been set up in the college campus and a strict time table has been prepared by the returnees. The Ao women Dimapur (Watsu) is taking care of food arrangement for the centres.

The quarnatine centres can accommodate 300 people. Food and other essentials were donated by the Ao civil societies and Ao Baptist Churches, Dimapur while the infrastructures and toiletries were managed by the government of Nagaland.
