The Gideons International in India has opened its first regional office in Dimapur on December 3 to cater to the needs of the North Eastern States. The office is located at the top floor of KIKO building, Burma Camp Junction, Dimapur.
The room will serve as regional office and has been bequeathed to the Gideons Ministry by Mr.and Mrs. Khevihe Chophi and family to be utilized till the Gideons Ministry exists.
The office was inaugurated by Rev.Dr.Z.K.Rochill, Sr.Secy.Dimapur Auxiliary, Bible Society of India, in presence of the donor, the President of the NE-State Dr.I.P.Khala, the Secretary of the NE-State Mr.KJ.Lohe, the Treasurer of the NE-State Er.V.Rochill, the Chaplain of the NE-State Mr.R.K.Thekho, the Regional Director of the Gideons International in India Mr.S.P.Sekho and a host of Gideons and Auxiliary members.
The State President on behalf of the National Cabinet gratefully acknowledges the gesture of Mr. & Mrs. Khevihe Chophy for their great contribution and prays that God will continue to bless them in their future endeavours too. This has been a long felt need and we are grateful to God this opportunity and the National Cabinet of the Gideons International in India for their understanding and concern.
